All'interno del triangolo epistolare Enone, Paride ed Elena, il diverso punto di vista dei personaggi riproduce la pluralità di trattazione, che aveva subito il mito durante le varie fasi della tradizione greca e latina. In altre parole Ovidio rinvia alla forma originaria, che la vicenda mitica aveva nelle fonti antiche.

Within the epistolary triangle of Oenone, Paris and Helen, the different points of view of the characters reproduce the plurality of treatment, which the myth had undergone during the various phases of the Greek and Latin traditions. In other words, Ovid refers to the original form which the mythical story had in ancient sources.
