Author Biography

Gianluca De Fazio, James Madison University

Gianluca De Fazio joined the Department of Justice Studies in the Fall of 2014 as an Assistant Professor.  He received his PhD in Sociology from Emory University in 2013. He currently teaches courses in the Track B (Global Justice) on Social Movements, Terrorism, as well as Race, Class and Justice (JUST 328). His research interests include the use of political violence by social movements, the civil rights movement in Northern Ireland and, more generally, ethnic and racial conflicts.
