Author Biography

Jack Harding, University of Glasgow

A Ph.D. candidate in the department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Glasgow focusing on strategic culture and the use of the armed forces for domestic security in the UK, France and Germany. He holds a Master’s degree from King’s College London in Intelligence and International Security where he won the prize for best MA dissertation for his work on German intelligence operations. His research interests include strategic theories, counter-terrorism, and intelligence as the “missing dimension” of strategy. He recently co-authored a book entitled The Weaponization of Trade, (London: London Publishing Partnership, 2017) which was cited in a report presented to US Congress.
