Abstract

The article investigates the origins of Christianity from a mediological point of view and in particular attempts to shed light on the following issues: the relationship between the theological and doctrinal foundations of the new religion and the media environments available in the first century; the communicative modalities of Jesus of Nazareth; the re-elaboration of the message of the Rabbi in the preaching of the disciples of the first and second generation; the re-mediation of the connection between oral and writing in the canonical Gospels.
