The rhetoric can be understood as a functional component of the communication process, but also as an instrument of domination of communicative intentions. The paper tries to answer the question of the existence of a path able to connect ethics and rhetoric. For this purpose, it is focused on the concept of expression and its relationship with the most important reports of perception
