Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to offer an analysis of the strategic role played by the concept of imagination in the thoughts of some contemporary women philosophers and a disentanglement of the essential link that exists between imagination and a common concern among those thinkers: the battle against unreality. My hypothesis is that this concern is one of the characteristics of the hidden tradition of women’s thought.
