Il contributo analizza i diversi riti della Chiesa cristiana cattolica secondo il rito latino e secondo i riti orientali. Si affronta il tema delle migrazioni levantine in terra d'Otranto (XV secolo), con particolare riferimento alla Chiesa della comunità arbëreshe a Lecce, dove la liturgia si svolge in rito greco-bizantino. Si valuta l'opera di P. P. Rodotà sul rito greco in Italia durante il Pontificato di Benedetto XIV.

The paper analyzes the different rites of the Catholic Christian Church according to the latin rite and according to the eastern rites. The theme of levantine migrations to the land of Otranto (15th century) is addressed, with particular reference to the Church of the Arbëreshe community in Lecce, where the liturgy takes place in the Greek-Byzantine rite. The work of P. P. Rodotà on the Greek rite in Italy during the Pontificate of Benedict XIV is evaluated.
