Lycophron, Alexandra, papyri, Medieval Manuscripts, scope of dissemination
Abstract
The Research aims to analyze the circulation and the use of Lycophron's Alexandra in Ancient and Medieval world through the fragments of the poem preserved in roman papyri and a comparison between these texts and those of Medieval Manuscripts. The dissertation provides a critical analysis for each papyrus with an original commentary.
