Abstract

The contribution announces the discovery of a manuscript containing Dante's Commedia, preceded by unknown Argomenti in prose to the Inferno, written at the midfourteenth century by Antonio Pucci, a florentine versifier, copyist and literate (Roma, Biblioteca dell'Accademia dei Lincei e Corsiniana, ms. 44 F 26). the essay offers an essential description of the codex; then examines briefly the physiognomy of the manuscript; finally proposes the transcription of the Argomenti.
