Introduzione a una ricerca sul campo in una comunità dell'Alta Albania: la Malësia e Gjakovës

Abstract

In this contribution are discussed some historical and socio-cultural aspects related to Malësia e Gjakovës, an area of northern Albania which shares with the neighboring Kosova and the city of Gjakovë historical, cultural, and linguistic similarities. The linguistic variety of this territory, in particular, was the focus of a fieldwork which was organized in 2013. The many recordings gathered during field trip will be analyzed and published as soon as possible.
