Abstract

Investigating the kinematic mapping of plane euclidian (spherical euclidian) one parameter motions Blaschke developped a differential geometry of curves in a quasielliptic (rep. elliptic) space.He useda certain differentiation process and we show that this Blaschke derivation is connected with the (O)-connection of Cartan.
