On regular <i>r</i>-packings

Abstract

This artiche is concerned with the connection between regular 2-packings in $PG(2r-1,q)$ and translation planes of order $q2r$ whose components are defined by a set of rational Desarguesian nets coordinatized by quadratic field extensions of a given field of order q.This work is a natural extensions of the studies of Walker [17] and Lunardon [14].
