Abstract

It is shown that the every plane of the class of Andrè planes of order $qn$ corresponds to a flat flock of a Segre variety Sn-1,n-1 over $GF(q)$ if and only if n is divisible by $q-1$. In addition, there are large numbers of generalized Andrè planes onstructed that produce flat flocks.
