Abstract

It is shown that every transitive deficiency one finite partial parallelism in $PG(3, q)$ with standard group uniquely extends to a parallelism that is never isomorphic to its dual parallelism.The 'derived' parallelisms of standard parallelisms are also shown to be non-isomorphic to their duals.
