Abstract

The study of selection principles in mathematics is the study of diagonalization processes. In this survey we restrict ourselves to selection principles which have been considered in the context of topology. As this field is growing very fast I do not intend to be complete or encyclopaedic here. I only give a brief report on some of the activities in this field over the last few years.
