Abstract

Beutelspacher's construction of line parallelisms in $PG(2^{a}-1,q)$ is generalized to line parallelisms of $PG(2^{a}-1,K)$, where $K$ is an arbitrary skewfield admitting a suitable sequence of quadratic skewfield extensions.
