An integral formula for convex sets in the Eucledean plane

Abstract

Let K be a bounded, closed,convex region in the Euclidean plane.The main purpose of this paper is to determine the measure of all sets congruent to K which are contained in a convex polygon.By the application of this result some geometric probability problems involving lattices of figures will be solved.
