Vanini is an author neglected by almost all the manuals of Philosophy currently in use in high schools and even more widely ignored in teaching practices. After investigating the most classical works of History of Philosophy and the most popular school books, the author tries to understand the reasons for these choices and makes some proposals for an educational recovery of the figure of the philosopher.

Vanini è un autore trascurato da quasi tutti i manuali di Filosofia attualmente in uso nei Licei e ancor più ignorato nelle pratiche d'insegnamento. Dopo aver indagato tra le opere più classiche di Storia della Filosofia e i libri scolastici più diffusi, l'autore cerca di comprendere i motivi di tali scelte e avanza alcune proposte per un recupero didattico della figura del filosofo.
