We think that in Leonardo and in his Ricordazione – which is "a Remembrance-in-Action – are coexisting the three Augustinian Presents. They appear in the ambiguous truth of his faces which reflect themselves and get lost in our eyes. They are continuous presents of a moi-qui-dure: as an earthly cold love which is looking for a plain heavenly love who passes to us the pure research.

In Leonardo e nella sua Ricordazione – che è un Ricordo-in-Azione – coesistono, ci è sembrato, i tre Presenti Agostiniani che appaiono nell'ambigua verità dei suoi volti e che riflettono e si perdono spesso nel nostro sguardo. Sono i Presenti Continui, di un moi-qui-dure: un frigido amore terreno che cerca con insistenza un proprio amore divino e ne tramanda a noi la pura ricerca.
