Abstract

This paper aims to study a single species fishery model with Von Bertaranphy law of growth. The dynamical and the bionomic steady states are determined and their natures are examined from the biological and the economical points of view. The optimal harvest policy is studied by taking the fishing effort as a dynamic control variable.
